It's been such a freaking nice long break... after full troop exercise, I really needed a break from army life... hmmm... lets see... I have 27 working days left in the army... excluding leave... so... hehehe doesn't sound so bad does it.
My long break... started on friday the 4th of Feb...
4th Feb - night -
Went down to China Town with my older brother to see the interesting stuff they were selling before Chinese New Year... Bought this traditional costume and was hit on by the this feminie guy named, Alex... He was just going on and on about how good I looked in the clothes... A bit freaky... *shudder*
5th Feb -

Saturday was great... went to Novena in the late afternoon and met up with Charissa, who was selling chocolate vouchers to raise funds for her school... Didn't see her when I walked into Novena cause she was sitting in a corner talking to this elderly lady selling tissues... Very sweet girl lah this Charissa. Hung out with her around Orchard making her my model as I was trying to find something nice for my sister who's birthday's tomorrow the 6th of Feb. Got to church around 4ish, just in time for practise... Always love singing in church with G2... My family in church... don't know what I'd do without them around... maybe live this boring life... eeee..
Anyways, I didn't stay for after mass practise as my sister was celebrating her birthday with friends tonight and she wanted me around. SO... I went home and helped her celebrate her birthday... ehheeh so fun...
6th Feb -
My sister's 25th Birthday!! HAPPY HATCHDAY SIS!!! Just spent the whole day at home helping my mum bake pineapple tarts... mmmm... yummy!! I got for my sis an anklet... I know she likes it cause she's been wearing it since I gave it to her... The whole family had dinner at AROY's, this thai resturant in Siglap... really good food...
7th Feb -
Had a cohesion program at East Coast in the afternoon... a total waste of time I say, cause nobody wanted to be there, but was forced anyways... even my CO didn't want to be there... what a joke man... anyways, got home in the evening and slacked...
8th Feb -
The only interesting thing thats went on today was the Peranakan Mass I attended in the evening with my family... It was so weird that I could follow the mass... weird... I could see though that other considerablely younger peeps at the mass were lost... noticed that there was this cute girl sitting a few pews in front.. suddenly out of no where she took out a camera and started taking pictures of the priest (Fr Chan)... what a funny thing to do during mass... very rude also... Oh well... caught up a little with Sylvia who I bumped into after the mass outside church... Found out that she would be joining me as a nurse... she's currently in year 2... what a surprise...
9th & 10th Feb -
A whole lot of visiting done... I can safely say, I'm afraid of boys from aged 3 to 5 years of age... I don't know all these nephews suddenly saw me and started attacking me... Like there was this sign on my forehead that said "DESTROY ME NOW!!" Tiring man... I know that they're just kids, but man... violent ones... I think it retribution from God cause my cousins said I was something like them when I was younger... hmmm... It was really fun meeting up with the extended family... since I'm older, I feel so much more welcomed when I get greeted with hugs from them... Before I didn't feel that way... now it's different...

Woke up to find my parents having a small arguement with each other... and suddenly, my sister was dragged into it somehow and everyone around was in a foul mood.. I don't like waking up to stuff like this... espically since I can more of less anticipate a quarrel from the way I observe the answers given... It's like a quarrel would not happen if sharp retorts weren't given when unfavorable answers were given... sigh... went to see my Godpa and Godma... then went for ASH WEDNESDAY (Friday) MASS... met Cheryl and Clare who were in my cathecism calss last time... Combine Choir was sung horribly as out of no where we were given scores so tha twe could sing in parts... *ouch* painful experience...
12th Feb -
Fun Saturday again... after mass was prayer meet... Looks like this year it's a prayer support group thing rather than the prayer buddy thing we have had for some years... And guess what, I'm the leader of a group... Group 5 to be specific... Group members include inno particular order, Nicole, Mic, Emms, Daniel and Me... Every week, each group has a task to perform... something like a Lenten Sacrifice each week... this week teh group's tasking is to "DRESS SIMPLE"... meaning No accessories, Gel or fancy clothes... This is to remember those who are not as fortunate as us to have extra money to get accessories and fancy clothes to wear...
13th Feb -
Fun day... had Easter Concert Practise in the afternoon, then played pool with Joanna, Spruyt, Jon Lim and Brenda... Getting quite close to Spruyt... He seems to look up to me in a way... welll that's what I feel anyways... A funny guy who's been somewhat violated by a gay guy watching him bathe at a public swimming pool... poor guy...

Happy Valentines Day to all... Fot those who have hot dates, enjoy... For those who don't, don't worry, your time will come... The end of my long break from army... need to go back tonight... sian like *$@#!!! Well, it was good while it lasted.. Was talking to friends who have ORD-ed already... they said that Army is a 'firwall' for relationships and girls... they'll only be able to get through after ORD... funny how that might actually be true... oh well...
