Okies... This is to let everyone know that I've arrived safely in Australia, and am settling in to me dorm... Just gets FARKING lonely here...
Leaving was so damn hard... I only realised it when I checked in my passport... it was my point of no return... I so love all you guys who turned up...
Gus, Jon Lim, Kenneth, Dominic, Nicole, Brenda, Stacy, Denise, Samantha, Deborah, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Calin and Sueann... I LOVE you guys to death...
Caryn, Hun, I miss you and love you so much... Without you in my life, I don't know if I'd have the strength to take such a plunge to study abroad... You give me so much strength and support, and I LOVE you so much for that... Thank you so much for being there at the airport, even though you weren't feeling well... There's an emptiness inside me, being so far away from you... It's so lonely without you...Alright... lets get on with the update...
Tuesday 12th July 2005Arrival in Sydney Airport after a 7 hour flight... The flight was extremely bumpy, jerking about the whole way... Mummy got really sick and started hurling throughout the journey... Cause I suffer from very mild motion sickness, the smell of her vomitus made me a little nauseous... see lah... a nurse reacting this way... sigh...
In Sydney, the cold weather only hit me at the train station... We were supposed to take an hours train ride to Wollongong, then meet up with my sis at her college...
Wollongong is a nice quiet place in Australia... very nice beaches, but the place is a little small... There are very few shops around and cause of the ULUness of the place, things are slightly more expensive...
Mum took like 1 full day of sleeping to recover from her motion sickness.. hurling like nobody's business... Poor thing...
Here are some photos taken...

Thursday 14 July 2005Arrived in Brisbane Airport... It so much warmer here compared to Sydney... Just the right temperture... feels like my air conditioned room back home, however, this is the ambient temperture of the day... Natural air-con...
We had our lunch at a dairy farm on the outskirts of Gold Coast, and the lady was so nice and helpful, that she hooked us up with a holiday apartment by the beach... imagine... 30m from the beach, and the room is located on the 21st floor... SWEET!!! Check out the view..

View from the hoilday apartment... SWEET!!!

17th July 2005Really sad day... Mummy had to go back to Singapore first... so sad that she couldn't stay... at the airport I hugged her and didn't want to let go... Until now I still regret not hugging her more at the airport... sigh... *sob* *sob*
Moving on, dad dropped me off in school to attend some orientation talk which actually was quiet a waste of time, so anyways, I enrolled and got my student card, and enrolled in my classes... then I bumped into Daddy, Niah Niah and Che Che at the HUB... accordingly they just arrived not 2 seconds ago... hahaha such good timing... anyways, we dumped stuff into my room then, we went off looking for a place to stay... we found this place near my school which was great... a really comfortable place to stay for a while...
