CHUNG MING: THE LEGEND CONTINUES....
The Flight to Brisbane was a rough one... Although I had one of the best seats around, next to me was one of the worse kinds of passangers... Grrr... So annoyed... It was the fat, sweaty guy from China (no offence, not trying to be racist...) and he copied everything I was doing... plus he leaned against me on the flight while he fell asleep... WHAT? DO I LOOK LIKE A PILLOW TO YOU??!! Grr... such an experience...
I got to Brisbane safely and made my way to school by public transport... It was a sweltering 27 degrees and no clouds in the sky... I lugged my baggage to school and got my accomadations settled... Didn't seem like anyone was around so I just went about getting my stuff in order... I then realised that I didn't have any food so, I made my way to Garden City Mall with Lexi, my housemate, to get groceries... I spent $100+ just on essential stuff which depressed me a bit... Went back to my flat, unloaded my stuff and then when everything that could be in order was in order, I proceeded to feel the effects of jetlag... It hit me so hard, it wasn't pretty...
The next morning I felt much better, so I set out to get my stuff in order... I remade broken ties with those around and then started to really settle in and get to know my flatmates... I have 6 people, including me, sharing the flat... 1 Common Kitchen, Bathroom and Living Room, and 6 individual rooms. The people sharing the flat with me are Ben(Science), Kristy(Law), Rodney(Commerce), Lexi(Science) and Ally(Theater Studies)... I love my flatmates, they're a great bunch of people that support each other and are there for one another in times of frustrations... We have had so many bitch sessions in the corridor, it really quite amusing... Everyone would just be standing in their own doorway and throwing out bitchy comments about the said topic(someone/something) and after a good laugh, we'd just turn and head into out individual rooms...
A bit about my flatmates...
Ben, used to be in the army here in Australia... He's currently studying science and is a very vocal person when it comes to topics where he has strong views about. He's the resident drinker of the flat and partys in the city with friends... His favourite studying area is the Uni Pub... A regular party animal...
Kristy, a first year Law student is the flat's Bread Monster... She absolutely loves bread, but has told us that she needs to watch her daily bread intake... She was a little quiet at first, but as time passed and she became more comfortable with us, she's become more vocal with her views. She has travelled around Europe a few times and loves Italy to death. She usually spends her weekends at home, appearing back in the flat when school starts again on Mondays...
Rodney, a first year Commerce student is from Zimbabwe, but speak like an African American from the Ghettos... He's a big time hiphop rap star back in Zim, where his albums usually top the charts weekly without fail. He has a way with the ladies, always charming them with random sweet comments about them. A regular playa...
Lexi, the other Science student in the flat is the loudest girl you'd ever meet. Her laugh can be heard clearly from 50 m away. She's the resident gummy bear, bouncing around the flat bringing sunshine to the gloomy cloudy days...
Last but not least,
Ally, the 'mother' of the flat. She's doing theater studies and is in love with her scooter. She has an amazing angelic voice which she's a little shy about. She's always in musicals performed at the Queensland Performing Arts College
(QPAC). You will usually know when she's around when you hear her practise her songs. A junkie when it comes to travelling, you'd see her, more often than not, with a travel magazine plannig her next trip around the world...

I've been told that I'm the life of the party, well, that might be true only if I'm in the mood... hehehe I'm a hopeless romantic, sporty and basically out of my mind... I'd try mostly anything once and I'm not afraid to make a fool of myself, which is quite often nowdays... I can make friends anywhere I go, but that's only if they speak English. I'm at home indoors as well as outdoors, and if you're a clubber and call me out, more often then not, I'd go if I had the money and I'm free the next day... I'm very sweet and parents love me... Really, I get along with parents very easily... strange but true... I'm a musical buff, I try never to miss a musical or theater performance which catch my eye and I'm a photo-slut... I absolutly lurve having my photo taken! I annoy people very easily, but somehow they always still want me around... heheheh
